Love can enter your life when you least expect it. For us, we came together in a world that was trying to stay apart. During the first week of Covid, we connected on a dating app. We know, we know...but hey...we are here now. For months, we could only talk. Through FaceTime and phone calls, we built a friendship. Our friendship would keep us laughing and talking each day until we were safely able to meet. Talk about an unconventional first date. We both showed up masked up and wondered if we would ever see the bottom half of the others face... We met like this for some time. Always talking, always laughing. Throughout the months we were tested and questioned if we were destined to be great friends or more. We never shy away from a conversation and credit this to how we ended up here. In March of 2021, Travis decided to ask me to be his "girl" over FaceTime...just how we started. It was the 1-year anniversary of our first date. He never fails to remember the details. We have spent each day after growing in love and getting to know the other. Not only getting to know each other but the others family and friends. To which we have been supremely blessed to curate the greatest support system of all time. We no longer consider each others family or friends as "Ally's friends" or "Travis' family" but ours. When you know...you know. Travis got down on one knee on 3/11/23. It was private and simple and perfect. Despite my brilliant investigation skills, Travis (with the help of my mom and Liv) managed to keep it a surprise. Truly, it was the happiest day of our lives. We simply can not wait to share our wedding day with each of you. Thank you for not only being present for this chapter but all those before and to come. Let's party!
